Jon is FISHI'N' TRIPS 'N' TIPS head fishing guide. Jon enjoys a wide range of fishing, including inland river fishing, estuary/beach fishing and deep sea fishing and has over 40 years experience in recreational fishing. Jon started fishing as a child at Yamba on the Clarence River. Since then he has fished from Sydney to Cape York on the East, Darwin in the North and Kununurra in the West.

Jon still believes that the best is wetting a line in Northern NSW, as this part of the world provides a wide diversity of environments with good accessibility and favourable weather conditions all year round.

Jon is also a custom rod builder who has been building fishing rods for the public for 15 years and teaching rod making for 4 years.
